Training and Performance Highlights

  • Annie began dancing at the age of three and her training at the Cary Grove Performing Arts Centre at the age of five. She trained extensively in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, and modern.
  • In high school, Annie was on the Cary Grove Pom Squad for two years, CGHS Swing Choir for three years, as well as being featured in four CGHS musicals.
    Conventions attended include CNADM, DMW, and ACDA workshops
  • At UWW:
    • Performed in both the Dancescapes and Emerging Choreographers Concert every spring each of her four years. 
    • Dance training primarily in modern and ballet as well as choreography and composition. 
    • Annie studied abroad in England for a semester, where she focused on modern dance and composition and also performed group improvisation in Liverpool Hope University’s Capstone Arts Festival.
    • Annie also served on the executive board of the UWW Dance Company.

Personal

A Cary native, Annie is currently living at home with the goals of pursuing a Master’s degree in counseling or art therapy in the near future. Her foundation, knowledge, enthusiasm and love for dance began as a student at CGPAC, and she cannot wait to that give back to her new students as a teacher.

Monday: 9:30-11:00 am, 4:00-8:30 pm
Tuesday: 1:00-2:30 pm, 4:00-8:30 pm
Wednesday/Thursday: 9:30-11:00 am, 4:15-8:30 pm
Friday: 4:00-6:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Sunday: 6:30-8:00 pm
