Education

  • Currently attending high school, and will be part of the graduating class of 2016.
  • Future plans include continuing dance and academic education in college and beyond.

Training and Performance Highlights

  • Jill has been dancing since she was three years old and first began her training at The Dance Academy in Cary. 
  • She has been dancing at Cary-Grove Performing Arts Centre since she was seven years old and studies Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, and Tap. 
  • Jill has attended numerous conventions and intensives such as the Dance Masters of Wisconsin’s February workshops, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters’s Ballet Forum and Student Sessions, and Inaside Chicago Dance’s Summer Intensive. She has also danced with Cary-Grove Performing Arts Centre in the McDonald’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with the Human Rhythm Project in 2014. 
  • She has received several scholarships and awards including three Cary-Grove Performing Art Centre Scholarships. She is a recipient of the Senior-Teacher Award and a two-year recipient of the Model Student Award. She has also received scholarships from Dance Masters of Wisconsin and Inaside Chicago Dance.

Personal

Jill currently resides with her parents and older sister, Mary, in Cary. When she is not studying for school or at CGPAC dancing, working, or teaching, she enjoys visiting with friends and family, watching movies, reading a good book and, of course, dancing whenever and wherever she can (including her own kitchen and the supermarket).

To educate children and adults about the arts, develop their skills as well as their self-esteem, have fun, and give students practical skills for life.

 School Year Hours (Sept-May when classes are in session)

Monday: 9:30-11:00 am, 4:00-8:30 pm
Tuesday: 1:00-2:30 pm, 4:00-8:30 pm
Wednesday/Thursday: 9:30-11:00 am, 4:15-8:30 pm
Friday: 4:00-6:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Sunday: 6:30-8:00 pm

 Summer Hours Vary (Generally closed Fri/Sa/Sun, Please Call for M-Th hours)
