Personal

Ashley and her husband Erik moved to Algonquin in the summer of 2015 after ten a years in the city. They live with their three cats, who are the light of their lives. When not teaching, Ashley is happy to work as a theatre technician at Harper College, where she can be found hanging her legs off the catwalk and trying not to drop her wrench. Outside of work, she volunteers at Willowbrook Wildlife Center helping rehabilitate injured or ill wildlife. Her favorite animals so far have been the flying squirrels, the woodchucks, baby raccoons and the birds of prey.

Our Goals

To educate children and adults about the arts, develop their skills as well as their self-esteem, have fun, and give students practical skills for life.
