Training and Performance Highlights

  • Robin studied at the Bataille Academie of the Danse until high school where she was a four-year member of the swing choir, pom squad and featured in four musicals. In college she was soloist with “Northern Dance Theatre II” and the Flour Fairy in Sleeping Beauty. Robin’s senior dance choreography project was chosen to represent NIU at the American College Dance Festival where she took classes with the Martha Graham Dance Company. While attending NIU Robin was a member of the cheerleading squad/dance team and the Delta Gamma Sorority.
  • After college, Robin was Dance Captain at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for the Spirit Within show. Upon her return to the Chicagoland area, she performed with the Northwest Ballet Ensemble in The Nutcracker (1996, 1997) as Waltz Queen, Snow Queen, Spanish Variation and Reed Flutes, in Peter and the Wolf (Cheshire Cat), and in the Seven Movements of Dance.
  • Robin is also an accomplished musical theatre performer. Favorite roles include Peggy in 42nd Street, Anita in West Side Story, Cassie in A Chorus Line, Sheila in Hair, and a Kit-Kat Girl in Cabaret.

Personal

Robin is the co-owner and Artistic Director of CGPAC and C-G Dancewear. She grew up in Cary and lives here with her husband Ray and her three stepchildren, Jack, Joey, and Matthew, and their dog Izzy. In addition to being an accomplished dance teacher, she is also a certified yoga instructor. Through her yoga teaching, Robin is committed to cultivating a positive atmosphere where students can become aware of their maximum potential while achieving greater awareness and discovering inner peace and calm.

To educate children and adults about the arts, develop their skills as well as their self-esteem, have fun, and give students practical skills for life.

 School Year Hours (Sept-May when classes are in session)

Monday: 9:30-11:00 am, 4:00-8:30 pm
Tuesday: 1:00-2:30 pm, 4:00-8:30 pm
Wednesday/Thursday: 9:30-11:00 am, 4:15-8:30 pm
Friday: 4:00-6:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Sunday: 6:30-8:00 pm

 Summer Hours Vary (Generally closed Fri/Sa/Sun, Please Call for M-Th hours)
