Gia has been dancing since the age of 2 and has trained in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Acro, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, and Pom.

She was a four-year member of the Cary-Grove High School Dance Team, making Varsity her sophomore year, and was also a member of Swing Choir (2019–2021) and performed in three Cary-Grove musicals.

Gia received the CGPAC Junior and Senior Teacher Awards (2016 & 2020) and earned a dance performance scholarship to Illinois State University.

Throughout college, she performed in multiple Illinois State University Fall and Spring Dance Concerts, Dance Inventions Concerts, and the American College Dance Dance Association Conference.

Personal
After graduating from Illinois State University, Gia returned home to pursue a career in dance education and fitness instruction. She is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where dancers can build confidence, develop strong technique, and foster a lifelong love of dance. In addition to teaching dance, Gia serves as the Studio Manager at Yin Yang Pilates & Yoga and is currently completing the National Certification Pilates Trainer program.
