Training & Performance Highlights
- Honor Recitalist and recognition as Outstanding Senior at Illinois Wesleyan University. Also 4-year member of both the IWU Collegiate Choir and Chamber Singers. While at IWU, performed in Working, West Side Story and Godspell; also had leading roles in several one-act operas and many opera scenes.
- Had roles in Hansel and Gretel, Madame Butterfly, Christopher Sly and more with FSU Opera Theatre.
- 2-year participant the Boris Goldovsky Opera Workshop Worked with John Reed, O.B.E., and performed Gilbert & Sullivan operettas in summer repertory at the University of Colorado at Boulder
- Local musicals/operatic performances include: I Pagliacci, Amahl and the Night Visitors, 1776, Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical, A Little Night Music, Dille’s Follies, Paradise People, Iolanthe, H.M.S. Pinafore. Vocal director for: The Mikado and A Chorus Line
- Guest soloist for Voices in Harmony’s performances of Haydn’s Creation, Handel’s Messiah, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Viva la Opera! and Viva la Opera II.
- In high school, Sue was a 3-year member of the Cary-Grove Swing Choir, performed with Acapella Choir and was featured in several musicals. She also performed in many summer youth productions at the Woodstock Opera House and the Hemmens Auditorium in Elgin.

Personal
Sue lives in Cary with her husband, Wally. She is very active in the music ministry at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, and also sings with Chicagoland Voices. Sue loves to sing and perform music from many genres, and really enjoys teaching voice and co-teaching swing choir classes at CGPAC.
