Disney Camp

Age 3-6

"Wish Upon a Star" Disney Camp

Where every dancer is the hero of their own story.

Tentative daily plans:

Day 1: The "Encanto" Family Fiesta
  • Theme: Finding your "Miracle" (Strength, Growth, and Magic).

  • Dance Style: High-energy Latin-inspired jazz and "Mirabel" skips.

  • The Craft: Designing "Magic Candles" (decorated battery-operated tea lights) or decorating a "Casita" door hanger.

  • Pretend Play: "What is your secret gift?" Each child demonstrates a "superpower" move (super strength, growing flowers, talking to animals).

Day 2: The "Frozen" Winter Wonderland
  • Theme: Ice, Snow, and Sisterhood.

  • Dance Style: Lyrical and "Ice Magic" arm movements set to Let It Go or Into the Unknown.

  • The Craft: Snowflake Wands using ribbons and glitter cardstock.

  • Pretend Play: A "Freeze Dance" party where Elsa "freezes" the room with her powers.

Day 3: The "Under the Sea" Adventure (The Little Mermaid/Moana)
  • Theme: Waves, Bubbles, and Island Rhythm.

  • Dance Style: Fluid, "wavy" movements and tropical poms-style rhythm.

  • The Craft: "Dinglehopper" hair accessories or ocean-in-a-bottle sensory shakers.

  • Pretend Play: Navigating the "Ocean Floor" (an obstacle course of "seaweed" streamers).

Day 4: The "Royal Coronation" Ball
  • Theme: Classic Royalty (Cinderella, Tiana, Belle).

  • Dance Style: Introduction to Ballet—graceful port de bras, curtsies, and "Princess Walks."

  • The Craft: Decorating "Jeweled Crowns" or royal capes.

  • Pretend Play: The Grand Finale! A royal procession where each camper is announced to the "ball" to perform their favorite move from the week.

Dress to match the theme each day.  Get as creative as you want.  Remember, no street shoes in the classroom so plan to either bring dance shoes or go barefoot.
