Handmade Arts: The Creator’s Studio

Back by popular demand! For the young artist who loves to work with their hands, this camp is a deep dive into the world of tactile art. We’re putting down the screens and picking up the needles, brushes, and sketchpads to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

Examples of what we've learned in the past:

• The Art of the Stitch: Students will learn the fundamentals of hand-sewing, from threading a needle to basic embroidery.

• Sketching & Shading: Unlock the secrets of drawing! We will explore pencil techniques, proportions, and how to bring a 2D image to life on paper.

• Paint by Number: A fan favorite! This session teaches patience and precision as students create a complex, colorful canvas to hang at home.

• Creative Crafts: Beyond the basics, we’ll dive into "mixed media" projects—think jewelry making, fabric marbling, tie-dye, or custom room decor.

This camp is designed to build fine motor skills, focus, and artistic confidence. Your child will go home each day with a sense of accomplishment and a collection of handmade treasures they can truly say they made from scratch.

Casual dress, we will leave street shoes in the front lobby so bring any dance shoes or go barefoot.

Week 6 (July 20-23) from 12:15-3:00 pm
