Dance Convention Recommendations for this Summer:
Attending a dance convention outside of CGPAC is a great way for dancers to broaden their knowledge, learn new choreography and have fun! There are a few options this summer that we recommend.
CNADM
(Chicago National Association of Dance Masters)
Each summer, CNADM offers multiple options for dancers to further their training with professionals from all over the country. The conventions will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg (by Woodfield Mall). If we have a group of students attend, we will arrange carpools for you all!
This summer, there are 2 wonderful options that we'd recommend:
Ballet Forum
Monday, July 28th - Friday, August 1st
Ages 11-21 (split into 4 levels)
This week of classes includes ballet and contemporary, with big choreography pieces, as well as intensive training in each style. We highly recommend this program to any dancers who want to further their dance technique, and push themselves this summer!
Weekend Workshop
Saturday, August 2nd - Sunday, August 3rd
Ages 7-18 (split into 6 groups by age)
This will be a weekend of master classes for students in all styles of dance. Students gain valuable experience by learning from various teachers alongside peers their age. With six age levels, class sizes are limited and more intimate than typical dance conventions.

Register by June 10th for lower member pricing!
How do I register for these camps?
1. Sign in to your DSP account (or make an account if you are new!).
2. Select "Register for Classes" and scroll to find the camps you want to select.
Make sure you are selecting for the correct student if you have multiple students in your account.
3. Complete registration!

You will receive an email confirming your registration.
*Remember that all new families pay a one-time $25 registration fee. This will be applied to your account after your registration has been processed.
"Can I just register for single days of these camps?"
Some of these camps will allow drop-ins or single day registrations.
