Swing Choir Concert
The Swing Choir Concert is on Sunday, May 17th at 6:00 pm
All 4 CGPAC Swing Choir classes will perform with special guest CGHS Swing Choir.
This performance is at Cary-Grove High School
Dress Rehearsal Schedule:
Friday, May 15th at CGPAC - dress rehearsal
Swing Choir 1 & 2: arrive 6:45 pm in regular swing choir/blue sequin costume, bring 50s with. Practice 6:45-7:45 pm

Swing Choir 3: arrive 6:55 pm in regular swing choir/blue sequin costume, bring 50s with. Practice 7:00-7:45 pm

Swing Choir 4: arrive 7:10 pm dressed in 50s (bring regular swing choir/blue sequin costume to change into), practice 7:15-8:00 pm

Sunday, May 17th at CGHS - CLOSED dress rehearsal followed by performance
2:45 - Drop off in 50s costume (girls need their leotard under their 50s outfit)

Bring dance bag or laundry basket with full sequin swing choir outfit, hair/makeup supplies, everything LABELED!!!)

Check the dancer in at the table in the theatre lobby

We will take them to their holding area in the Multi-Purpose Room where they will keep their things.

Su May 16th at CGHS
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm (approximate ending time)
5:15 pm 5:30 pm - tickets/flowers/concessions for sale in lobby
5:35/5:40 pm - doors open for General seating (once rehearsals are finished)
Costume Information
Here's what YOU provide:
SC1, 2, 3 girls - black thin strap leotard with black full length jazz pants (straight or flare, NOT leggings) - must cover shoes/ankles. Black jazz shoes, hair 1/2 up with the rest curled.
SC4 girls - black thin strap leotard, tan tights/nylons, black character heels, hair 1/2 up with the rest curled.
SC1, 2, 3 boys - black dress pants, black belt, black socks, black jazz shoes, white long sleeve collared dress shirt.
SC4 boys - black dress pants, black belt, black socks, black dance sneakers, white long sleeve collared dress shirt.
Here's what CGPAC will provide:
(These items will come home with your student Monday May 12th! Not at viewing week!) These items are on loan to you, you will turn them back in at picture day after your pictures! (picture day date and time coming soon)
SC1, 2, 3 girls and boys - blue sequin vest and bow tie.
SC4 girls - blue sequin vest and black sequin skirt.
SC4 boys - blue sequin vest and bow tie.
Tickets
Tickets are general admission, and will be sold starting in May. You have not prepaid for any tickets, therefore you will need a ticket for any show you want to sit and watch. At this point there will not be a limit on tickets.
$22 for adults (college thru senior citizen)
$10 for children (age 3-high school)

Tickets can be purchased in person at CGPAC or at any of the rehearsals/performances (cash/check payments), or you can pay through the DSP app (for card payments).
Volunteering
Volunteering for Swing Choir: Unlike the dance recitals, swing choir concert volunteers will be able to sit and watch the whole show. Thus, we ask you to purchase a ticket for the Swing Choir show even though you will be working before and possibly at intermission/after (depending on the job).
